About Kim

Hi, I’m Kim.

I am a Libra, Enneagram 3/2, ENFJ and a personality test fanatic.

20 years ago, I left California to go to college in Portland, Oregon. I live with my counselor hubby, Tim (who works with individuals and couples via telehealth in Oregon and Washington), our two kiddos, Louis (9) and Lucy (3), and our wild cat, Bananas. Tim and I have been lucky to be married for 15 years and still deeply in love.

My growth journey began after losing my mom to cancer in 2004. I was 19 and she was 44. My dad disappeared and as an only child, I was left to navigate life after loss on my own. Over the last 20 years, I have explored (and continue to explore) my own issues with ADHD, Eating Disorders, anxiety, depression, marriage and parenting struggles and faith deconstruction/reconstruction. I have and continue to “do the work” and showing up for myself and my healing.

My coaching career began with doing Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching in 2009. After a decade in the field, I decided to focus primarily on the coaching and integrated Brainspotting into my practice of supporting people who want to heal and grow. I have been so incredibly fortunate to work with clients from all over the world. It’s such a gift and I am so thankful the Brainspotting found me in 2018.

I bring a lot of perspective and experience with trauma, grief and loss to my practice. I love being able to support others who are in these places. I also love hosting personal development retreats for women and have been so fortunate to do so in Nashville, Sedona and Central Oregon. I am hoping to continue that in 2025.

I love to be outdoors! Hiking and Backpacking are my JAM. I also love paddle boarding, kayaking with my kids, bike riding, exploring and reading on the deck. I spend a LOT of time in the kitchen cooking and baking (and making lots of culinary mistakes) and am currently struggling to perfect sourdough.
